David Tebbutt and Martin Banks
Hover over the Press Here logo: Martin is the upper picture and David the lower. Between them they started Press Here in 1988. By this time, they were already award-winning columnists and seasoned journalists with a wealth of experience between them. David had also been trained in teaching and moderation skills while in the Education and training unit of a major computer company.

Martin had been writing about high tech for 20 years, as a news journalist, a feature writer and a columnist. David had spent 14 years in IT, including a few years as a management skills trainer. He then relaunched Personal Computer World in 1979 and was its editor for over two years. He was subsequently involved in the launch and management of a number of other titles. He was also writing features, columns and doing some television work. During this time, he spent four years as technical director of Caxton Software.

Martin and David continue to write columns and features to this day, along with running Press Here events and doing occasional private writing or consulting work. This close engagement with both the real world and the journalistic world has given them an unassailable understanding of the IT world and each client's place in it.
