How will you write your materials?
If you have skilled writers who understand the subject matter and have enough time, then you have no need of our writing-related services. However, you'll often find that your experts find writing difficult or that your writers have trouble understanding the experts.

Ideally, you'd like some of your people to at least hack out a reasonable first draft. Editors can always polish copy, once the basics have been covered. Too often the principal inhibitor to writing is fear, usually placed there by teachers, parents or other 'big people' in the would-be writer's life. We can help remove that understandable fear. This short SlideShare presentation gives a flavour of our approach.

What would you use us for?
David Tebbutt can help individuals overcome their writing inhibitions through a short course which takes them through the basics and gives them confidence.

David, or one of his partners, will also be happy to take on writing or ghosting engagements if your team lacks the time or the inclination to do it.

David has considerable experience of writing mini-books which can prove to be excellent marketing collateral. It's a great way to get a lot of information across in a tight, yet enjoyable, read.

Some examples
David's first ever paid-for publication was a user manual for an ICL minicomputer over 30 years ago. His first mainstream publication was Personal Computer World, which he edited in its formative years.

In 2003, he produced a briefing document to secure the commitment of the trustees of a museum group to a major investment. By writing about the attraction as if it already existed, the trustees could visualise it well enough to approve the initial investment.

His most recent publications were three mini-books initiated by analyst firm Freeform Dynamics and variously sponsored by Hewlett Packard, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and Microsoft. David was principal author for two of them and co-author of the other. After he moved on at the end of 2009, the MD blogged, "David Tebbutt brought a much-needed level of editorial discipline to the company"
